Alihamdulillah we took up a trip to Sasolburg: Zamdeni township (tailorpark) approx
170 km away from Pretoria, where there is a daily Maktab with a total of 30 Madressa
children.
The non Muslim parents of these children were the targeted dawah invites, and 25 of
them attended Alihamdulillah.
These parents, this was their first contact with Muslims and they had a very negative understanding towards Islam and Muslims. They thought Islam is a very bad religion which hate christians and Jesus and they were surprised to understand that Islam talks greatly of Jesus and His mother amongst
some…
Alihamdulillah all the negativity was cleared out in our Q&A session after the program.
Some of their Madressa children presented their renditions which impressed their parents, together with our Soshanguve students from Sasolburg who gave motivation talks to their community alihamdulillah.
Among the topics of discussion was the similarities between Islam and our African culture which was acknowledged by the elders of the community among the non Muslims.
Although only one man took shahadah alihamdulillah their understanding of a Islam changed to what their perceived. They all accepted the Sotho Qur’ans unlike before where they thought a Qur’an was a Muslim bible which talks ill against their Jesus.
New children were then allowed to join the Madressa with their parents who now understood the goodness of Islam. InshaAllah a second attempt to invite them to Islam is needed and to what we see now they are not far from embracing Islam with the grace of Allah.
We ask Allah to guide them to Islam.
Some food hampers were distributed to them respectively, and 30 toiletry gifts pack were given out to the Madressa children.
We thanks Appa Waseema who took the task to invite these parents so that they may receive the message of Islam.
“Our duty is to pass the message and guidance comes from Allah.”
Lunch and cool drinks were served to all Alihamdulillah.
Wasallallahu ala Nabiyyina Muhammad.
